Why does the economy care about fishing?

Agnes Tomini is a researcher at CNRS and AMSE (Aix-Marseille School of Economics). She studies environmental economics and focuses on renewable resources. While visiting the fish market in Marseille, we talked about her paper on fishing, published in an international scientific journal . What can economics tell us about fishing regulations?
